Caitlin Snyder, DVM

CAITLIN SNYDER, DVM
Medical Director

Dr. Snyder has recently joined the Talega Animal Hospital team as Medical Director after working in both emergency/specialty and general practice settings for many years. During this time, she found a special interest in urgent care cases, performing ultrasound and laparoscopic procedures (spay, gastropexy, etc.), as well as advanced dental procedures. She is a lifelong learner who always seeks continuing education opportunities to bring the latest and greatest advancements in veterinary medicine to her clients and patients. Practicing a high standard of care and being able to offer clients multiple treatment options for their pet’s condition is incredibly important to her practice philosophy.

Dr. Snyder’s love for animals started at a very young age when she was bit by the horse bug. Ever since, her life has always included animals! Her little family now includes her husband, her Dutch Shepherd, Pepper, a Cavalier, Molly, and her equine dressage partner, Luna.
